The Father is the title of Kate's new story. The thing I love most about this story it the big brother's attitude. I once wanted a big brother like the one in Kate's story, so it made me smile when I read it. It shows the kind love and compassion a older brother can have. Thank you so much for the sweet story Kate!
I had the opportunity to get a copy of Perry Kirkpatricks newest title, The Case of the Tabloid Tattler. It was an enjoyable, easy read with some suspense thrown in! It is very well written and has great potential for becoming a great mystery series! I heard that there was to be a blog tour for this book and decided to jump in and do it for Noble Novels. So without further ado let's begin!
*A very nicely dressed lady walks into the talk show room, crowd clapping calmly.* Hello everyone. I'm your host Holly Ciampi, for the NN Talk Show. Please be seated. Today we have a special guest joining us today on NN Talk Show. *Whispers* (Don't be too surprised because it is a cat.) Please put your hands together for Mia Thompson! *Many claps and cheers!* Now folks this cat is pretty amazing because she can write! *More clapping* She was recently on a serious case of the Tabloid Tattler. Hello Mia! So glad you're here! "Hi, Holly! It's nice of you to invite me!"
I'm curious, how old are you? "Well, let's see... I don't really remember when I was born, obviously. But when Keith took me to the vet the other day for a check-up, they guessed I was about 18 months old. Just a baby for a person, but a young adult for a cat!" Why did you decide to get involved with the case? "Everyone has some sort of skill. Mine happens to be writing, and I saw a way to be helpful with it. I think it's good to look for ways to be useful and helpful with skills God has given you. Besides, I was right about Keith not having any good ideas about what to do next. He'll tell you himself that he'd hit a dead-end."
Why did you choose Keith over anyone else in the neighborhood? "I first saw him right after I arrived in the area. He parked his car, got out, and helped his elderly neighbor bring her groceries in from her car. Once I saw that bit of kindness, I didn't even have to look for anyone else. I just observed him for a couple more days to be sure, and then--well, the rest is history!"
Why do you enjoy living with Keith? "He's quiet, doesn't vacuum too often, has interesting things for me to read--and now that he knows my secret--we get to 'talk' about his cases."
I have to ask, who was your favorite character in this case? "Hmm... That's a hard one, Holly. Keith would like me to pick him, I'm sure. I'm getting to be good friends with Ms. Thornblood, and--well--Beth, the cook, kept me really well-fed. I guess...oh, okay, I'll choose Keith. It was so fun watching his reaction when I first showed him I could write!"
So you enjoy writing. What convinced you that you could write pretty good the first time you tried it? "Well, knowing how to form the letters and how to put them together is one thing, but figuring out how to do it--with paws, no less--is another. There was a learning curve for me. My paw-writing was, shall we say, less than perfect to begin with. I found I enjoyed being able to express myself, though, so I kept practicing."
Do you have a favorite word to write? (smiles) "I like to write big words. I guess it makes me feel smart. (Of course, I make sure I know what they mean first, because to me there's nothing quite so silly as using a big word and using it wrongly.) But when it comes to just one favorite word to write... I would pick a very short one: my name. Mia."
What advice would you give to those who are working on writing? "Just do the same thing I did! Enjoy it, and let that motivate you to keep practicing! Don't ever give up. Study what makes other writing so good, and try to apply what you observe to your own compositions. (Oh! That's a pretty long word!)"
Thank you very much for coming to the show, Mia! It's been very fun to watch you write your answers to me! *Clapping and cheers as Mia walks out* "You're welcome! Thanks for having me!"

Is the title of Mikayla's next story! I love stories like this! Seeing the history of the Bible through the eyes of just common people is so cool to read. It's like you could relate to the surroundings in a new and different way! Amazing work, Mikayla! Very good! Remember the Bible is HIStory! :) P.S. Remember to join us on Monday for a special interview!
Sorry about last Saturday! We had people over at our house so I wasn't able to get around to posting this story. As you may have noticed I have been posting whoever has a story ready and so it has not been according to the schedule. Please know that the schedule is a guideline and anybody can post a story whenever! That's why I'm sharing Bethany's next! It's part two of her story Lost and Found! I'm sure you all are excited to see what happens next!
