Today I am doing a tutorial to teach you how to submit stories to Noble Novels using Google Docs.
First off, type google.com/docs into your search engine. This will take you to Google Docs home page.
Next, you are going to click the Blank, to start a new document.
This part is pretty self explanatory. Write up or paste your story on the blank sheet. Title it at top where it says in gray letters "Untitled Document."
After that click the share button. (This will not automatically share your story with anyone.) It will take you to a page where you can have different options to share your doc. Please choose the Get shareable link option.
Once you have clicked the Get shareable link option, you will see where you can copy the link to the doc (as seen below.) Please make sure it is on "can edit" option.
Then please send that link to firstname.lastname@example.org! Hope this tutorial will help you in submitting your stories!
More to come later about a new Google Docs schedule and submission for stories.
I am back from my blogging break Texas! What a wonderful time that was! I am very thankful that the Lord allowed us to go!
First things first, the deadline for the writing contest is quickly coming up! So if you haven't had a chance to send in your story, you may want to do that very soon. Also, it would be helpful for our judge, as she has other commitments later on!
Secondly, I know some asked about word limit for the contest; there is no word limit.
Thirdly, from now on, please submit all stories to Noble Novels as a Google Doc. I will be putting more info about how to do Google Doc and send me your story through that shortly. The reason for this change, is that it makes it easier for Weebly to keep the format of your stories and it also gives me access to edit when I need to. Thank you so much!
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the above! I am excited to get Noble Novels up and running again! Yay!
