About Noble Novels
Noble Novels was started in August 2013 by Holly Ciampi. A young writer, entrepreneur and blogger, who is fond of thrilling stories, making new friends and brainstorming new ideas! The idea for Noble Novels came when Holly was searching for a safe, online writing community that matched her beliefs and didn't require being a published author yet. The more she searched, she found out that most places like that either required being a published author or didn't exist at all. Holly decided that if she couldn't find that type of writing community, she would make it herself and Noble Novels was born!
With the help of two writers, who were the first to join Noble Novels as regular authors, Noble Novels is growing into that writing community!
Why the name Noble Novels?
The title came about for a few reasons. First, I (Holly) loves alliteration and knew that catchy, alliterated titles are easier to promote. Second, I wanted a title that would encompass the whole idea behind the writing community she longed for. According to Philippians 4:8, God wants us to meditate on things that are pleasing to Him. "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things." I believe God wants us to write things that are noble, as well as the other traits mentioned in the verse. I then found a synonym for writing/books and up came "novels". Put the two together and you get Noble Novels! (I do need to give credit where credit is due, I did have some help in coming up with the title!)
